Joint Mechanism Ensures Freedom of Navigation in Persian Gulf as Sanctions on Iran to be Gradually Lifted
A joint monitoring mechanism has been established to guarantee freedom of navigation in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. Sanctions on Iran will be gradually lifted contingent upon its compliance with the deal, with negotiations on remaining issues set to begin within seven days.
